MinJoo Kang, a fashion desigher, developed an interest in sewing since she was a teenager. Experincing sewing and designing eventually led her to pursue her studies in fashion design at lasalle college vancouver.
She particpated in a competion called skills Canada BC which evalutes each candidtes's patternmaking and sewing techniques and received a bronze medal in fashion techonolgy.
MinJoo's graduation collection was based on upcycling. Through her collection, she demonstrated fine skills in textile design.
